Why is Añejo more expensive than reposado?

Time is the biggest cost. Añejo rests at least a year in barrels of 600 liters or smaller, while reposado can be ready after two months. Every extra month ties up barrels, warehouse space and money, and some tequila evaporates through the wood as it ages, so there is less to bottle.
